Every year, we look forward to attending the Innishannon Steam Rally, one of the most unique and exciting family events in Cork! This event is all about celebrating vintage steam tractors, farm machinery, and classic vehicles, while also featuring farm animals, entertainment, and plenty of activities for families to enjoy.

We’re always super busy at this event, with endless smiling faces waiting to be painted! We love setting up with our full team and marquee, creating fun designs for kids and adults alike. The atmosphere is always incredible, and we’re usually blessed with sunshine, making it an amazing weekend of fun!

But what makes the Innishannon Steam Rally even more special is that it’s all in aid of the Irish Cancer Society – an incredible cause that supports cancer patients and their families across Ireland.

For fellow face painters or anyone working at outdoor festivals, here are some must-know tips for staying efficient and comfortable during busy events like the Innishannon Steam Rally:

Stay Cool & Protected from the Sun

• The weather is usually amazing, but long hours in the sun can be tough!

• Wear light clothing, a hat, and sunblock to protect yourself.

• If possible, position your setup in the shade or bring a canopy to keep cool.

• With a busy queue, it’s easy for things to get messy.
