Kerry, this family festival is all about celebrating the tradition of crowning a wild mountain goat as “King Puck”, alongside a weekend full of music, parades, markets, and endless fun for all ages!

How to Create the Perfect Puck Fair Goat Face Paint!

At this festival, the goat face paint is a must-have, and we’ve perfected a design where the client’s own eye becomes the goat’s eye!

Step-by-Step Goat Face Paint Tutorial

Outline the Goat’s Face & Eye Placement

• Using white paint and a fine detail brush (#1 round tip), sketch the shape of the goat’s head around one of the client’s eyes—this will act as the goat’s eye for a realistic effect.

• Extend the shape down to the cheeks to create the goat’s neck and fluffy fur.

Fill in the Base

• Fill the entire face shape with white paint, leaving the eye area as the focal point.

• Use a wispy brush stroke technique to add texture and fur-like details.

Add Pink for the Nose & Ears

• Blend soft pink into the nose to create a cute, natural effect.

• Add hints of pink inside the ear section for warmth and depth.

Paint the Goat Horns

• Using yellow paint, create two large, curved teardrop shapes on the forehead to form the goat’s iconic horns.

Outline & Add Final Details

• Using a thin detail brush and black paint, outline the goat’s face, ears, and horns to define the design.

• Add extra fur strokes, shading, and highlights to bring the goat to life.

Optional: Add a hint of shimmer or glitter for a fun, festival-ready look!

• Weigh down our marquee to keep everything secure in the open-air festival setting.

• Bring extra water and stay hydrated to maintain energy levels throughout the busy day.

• Keep our station clean! Regularly wiping down surfaces, refreshing water, and keeping brushes and sponges tidy ensures a hygienic and efficient setup.
